Welcome to Tom Gannon's Home Page

Well my old home page was lost across several server moves. But that's ok because it was stale anyway. With this new one I will TRY to keep it updated more often.

Who am I? I thought you knew, I am Tom Gannon. Or more properly Thomas Royce Anthony Gannon; TRAG to my collage friends. I am single, in my early 40's. I have worked for Walgreen's, Comdata, IBM Global Services, and Comdata again. I have a group of friends. We have all known each other for many years, some of us drift in and out of each other lives from time to time, but we never seem to completely lose touch with one another. As with any group that meets regularly, we needed a short name to refer to ourselves with, thus we came to be known as the Tribe. There is also a subset of the Tribe, those of us who are "into" technology make up The Discordian Group.
What is this web page for? It exists for several reasons. First it is a place I can put links to things that I want to show my friends. Second it acts as my on-line photo album. And of course it lets me practice at writing HTML code. (The old school way, with NOTEPAD!)
I would like to talk about one of my links below. My mother, Mary Lou Gannon passed away on August 2^nd, 1999. I was depressed about this for a long time, and when it got really bad, one of the things I would do to feel better was to go buy some movies on DVD. At some point, I cannot pinpoint when exactly, my motivation changed, and now I buy them because I have become a collector. I have around 600 titles so take a look.
